RE: Hotwire.com

Hotwire's policy of not telling anyone when a flight is leaving...and then not allowing changes, upgrades etc.

is basically a scam. They just saved me $18 each way on a flight from San Diego to Las Vegas, a 45 min.

One of their partners, Sky West ???, has a flight from San Diego to L.A. where you can change after a one and half hour layover to another Sky West to Vegas. Lost two hours there, half hour to L.A., one and a half sitting.

Next is the same on the return, Vegas to L.A. to San Diego, lost one and half sitting, half flying. I saved $36, lost 4 hours...my time must be worth $9.00 an hour. Really, I could stay home and think up evil email to Hotwire.busted com for that amount.

I think asking for information before putting down money is a reasonable thing to request...or if not, how about the ability to pay more for a better flight???

And don't bother calling customer service, unless you have another hour to lose...total loss of time to Hotwire.bustedcom is now up to 5 hours...gads...I'm down to $8.00 an hour.

Needless to say...may Hotwire.bustedcom join all the other useless dot.coms out there.
