For a good amount of time, the .com address was discontinued. At the time I realized the change, the .com address was still unavailable. Apparently they were able to get it back up and running. I read a report from the BBB that attempts to recover funds and merchandise was extremely difficult. The report also said the building which was listed as the address was found vacant with a hand written note on the door promising to make good on all orders to the company.
There was no mention of bankruptcy or anything that would clear the company of any obligations. No listed number has worked and email is not replied. I did however contact them by placing myself on their news letter list. I received a reply with a thank you for being a part of it, but once I revealed who I was, I never received a single news letter. Something is active there but there is sadly no way to tell which part of the company actually works. So far, very very few have been satisfied but Blade Realms still gets money from people without honoring their orders. Elbert C. Thornton
I too am among a many people who have ordered and paid for merchandise and not received it. I ordered the Sword of The Daywalker and tactical Scabbard from the movie 'Blade'. I placed my order on 07 SEP 2002 to the tune of $268.05. As of yet...NADA. I see that Blade Realms has also changed their name...slightly to BladeRealms.net (not com) It is up and running along with the exact same information on Blade Universe (.com) and Blade-x.net. Exact same prices, disclaimers and shipping list.
According to all of them, they ship all over the world. They are ALL in the 520 area code. I have called one who actually answered their phone and they claimed to have no affiliation with Blade Realms even though some pictures of their merchandise has copyright Blade Realms 2000. If there is any way you know of to help me get my money back....PLLLLEEEASE tell me. Thank you, Elbert C. Thornton
