First USA Bank / BP-Amoco Credit Card - called from home phone but still couldn't activate new credit card

I just received a BP-Amoco credit card from First USA Bank. I called the activation number from my home telephone and punched in my credit card number, only to be told that the card could not be activated at this time because I was not calling from my home telephone.
