I have been watching a Quaker State commercial where Dennis Leary is the spokesman for that product. He grabs a piston from a "shop attendant" and grinds the head on a grinding wheel. He then refers to that attendant as "tinkerbell" and then makes a cutting remark about his haircut.
As for me when I go shopping a "love" a salesperson who is a wise ass and does everything that he/she can do to ridicule me or make remarks about me that will just me feel great about myself.
I see Mr. Leary as a person that I would walk away from in a heart beat (if I didn't punch him) if I should encounter him where he was working as a salesperson. And the way that I see it he is a salesperson for Quaker State, and he is not doing you a very good job. And I am not the only one who feels this way.
At a recent event that I was attending that commercial was aired and some other people commented about how obnoxious he was and that you people should do a better job in preparing and presenting your sales pitch. I thought maybe that I was the only one who felt that way but I found out differently.
