I went in to Regis at the end of March for partial highlights, which I was told would cost $55.00. At the end of the appointment, I was charged $75.00.
I should have asked at that time why I was being charged an extra $20.00, but I didn't want to make a scene, so I figured I'd call the salon later and find out why I was overcharged. When I called, the receptionist told me she didn't know why I was charged so much, but said she'd have her manager, Renee, call me back.
A day passed with no phone call, so I called Renee, who told me she'd never even gotten my message! I explained the situation, and asked if maybe I was charged extra for a blow dry, style, or something. No, she told me, it sounds like the stylist did a half-head highlights, which costs MORE, and that's probably why I was charged so much.
Okay, but I didn't ask the stylist to do anything more than just partial highlights, so why should I have had to pay more just because she MIGHT have done extra highlights?! Renee said she'd talk to the stylist and call me back. Now, another couple of DAYS go by, no phone call from Renee.
So, once again, I called her. The person answering the phone at Regis told me Renee was out and would be back the next day. When I asked who I was speaking to, the person REFUSED to give me her name!! Now, keep in mind, I've been nothing but polite to these people, I've only asked for an explanation of why I was charged so much, and NO ONE WILL TALK TO ME!
I finally got the name and number of the Regis Customer Service person, Char, and after three messages to her, I've yet to get a return phone call!!!
