Robinson's-May - have Options account - final $ 20 payment was not late, but still charged $ 25 late fee - can't get help to look into issue</font> <p><font size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">I have an "Options" account with Robinson's-May.
Complaints.com received the following on April 2, 2003:

RE: Robinson's-May - have Options account - final $ 20 payment was not late, but still charged $ 25 late fee - can't get help to look into issue I have an "Options" account with Robinson's-May.
I had a 200.00 dollar balance which I paid 20.00 a month on time.
When the final payment was paid, I received a letter in the mail saying my payment was late, and that they were charging me an additional 25.00 dollars.
When I called their customer service department, they simply told me that it was in the contract that they were able to charge this fee.
May it was, but the problem is the payment was not late. No one in their company was willing to look into this for me.
Charges are still piling up due to their error.
