Travel Values Plus - didn't purchase membership, but billed $ 6.00

Complaints.com received the following on April 28, 2003:

RE: Travel Values Plus - didn't purchase membership, but billed $ 6.00

I just noticed this month's credit card statement included a bill in the amount of $6.00 from Travel Values Plus. The customer service rep there said I charged a membership in September (this is now April that it is being billed).

I most emphatically told her I had not purchased a membership and regarded this minor charge as a case of credit card fraud. Are there many similar complaints against Travel Values Plus? Thanks.
