Adobe - have purchased seven Adobe products - haven't yet received rebates due for any of these purchases

Complaints.com received the following on April 28, 2003:

I have purchased seven products form Adobe. I have yet to receive a rebate for any one of there promotions, or upgraded product rebates. I have sent all the information to there rebate center, and everyone has been returned for missing information.

I have resubmitted with the enclosed request, and they in return came back with the same form letter stating that there is more information needed to process the rebate.

A word to the wise, if you are buying any Adobe products because of the incentive for a rebate, DON'T! There are other products that will not cause you grief or aggravation. I for one will not purchase anymore Adobe products.

They should stand behind there promotions, and rebates. They, (Adobe), and the affiliates should wake up to this deceiving practice.

I submitted two rebates and received one of them. They were pretty substantial rebates $500 each, so I may not have purchased the second one if it were not for the rebate. What Adobe is doing is technically illegal as they are promising a rebate and not sending it with no justification. Unfortunately they are counting on the fact that it is too much trouble to have any sort of legal recourse. Perhaps a class-action lawsuit would be in order. Lawyers?
