To whom it may concern: In the beginning of February 2003, I attempted to purchase a cordless phone through the website www.buy.com. They have a payment option of pay by check which I used. Well weeks went by and my check was cashed and returned by the bank however still no phone was received.

 

I went and logged back on to the website- because by the way they charge you a fee to speak to a Customer Service Representative- and researched my order. Now the phone is "out of stock". I went ahead and cancelled the order. I received my conformation via email.

 

Now it almost May 2003 and I have no phone and no refund. I have emailed the company repeatedly and get automated email responses that the check is in the mail. Is is now over two months about 10 emails later and I am still at the mercy of www.buy.com for an answer, a refund check or some sort of repsonse that is not a bulk mailing to all the poor souls who are in the same situation.
