Complaints.com received the following on April 15, 2003:

RE: Whirlpool refrigerator - from M/s Bihari Traders - non-replacement of compressor

Subject: Non Replacement of one compressor , whirlpool model M.L. 033, S.L.R.No. T33 W.H. 008354 I Noel Anthony prop. M/s Star Refrigeration Rewa Road Satna purchased one compressor description given above, from your authorized dealer M/s Bihari Traders, Khermai road Satna (M.P.) on dated 27.03.2003 for Rs. 1600.00( rs. One Thousand Six Hundred only). The compressor was checked at once on bringing it to the shop. It did not function at all. This fact was immediately brought to the notice of the your authorized dealer with the request to replace it But, the same has not been replaced as yet. This was brought to notice of your Incharge of Indore office.Who already told to dealer to replace the compressor but no action is taken by the dealer. After that I am forced to give legal notice through my Advocate on 03.04.2003 by registered A.D. post to M/s Bihari Traders for Replacement in 15 days, which he has received on 05.04.03. According to your Dealer that Company is responsible for replacement, he has no responsibility. So, I am informing you to kindly look into this matter, otherwise I am ready to go Consumer court for my grievance after 15 days.
