I took advantage of posted sale signs of Cover Girl Smoothers make up for $5.99, regular price $7.99.

The register did not record sale price.

Since I only bought one thing, it was easy to see the error.

The cashier took time to check the flyer -- someone else took time to check the sale sign - people behind me, annoyed, took off for another cashier - I cooled my heels - the price SHOULD have registered $5.99 says the checker of sale signs!! This took place today 4/9/03 - four days after the sale started. How many paid the regular price instead of sale price? Who is at fault? Corporate headquarters?

The New Milford, CT store management? I wonder whether if I went in tomorrow for the same item would the price be the sale price? This is not the first time and I am tired of misplaced signs and computer glitches!!
