Prime TV, Southern Pines, N.C. - trouble with pricing, service installation

Complaints.com received the following on April 14, 2003:

The name of the company is Prime TV in Southern Pines, N.C.

We inquired about getting service from these people and we talked with a guy whose name is Chick and Chuck (according to his messages). We were told that we could get 4 boxes for $9.90, a rebate of $99.00 for the installation and service with locals for $38.90. Well, they were quick to take the $9.90 out of my account, but they only sent to boxes and not four.

When we called, we were told by a supervisor that he had a solution and would call us back the next day. Well, the call never came. We tried on numerous occasions to call but could not get the so-called solution man on the phone. He did not have the balls to get back on the phone with us.

We also found out that everything we were told was a ***. We could not get the service for $38.90 and if we wanted the other two boxes we had to pay $40.00 per box.
