RE: NCO Financial Service - dunned for bounced check from former employer
I was contacted by NCO stating that I had a debt of $200.00 from a bank of america check. I researched it and found it to be a paycheck from a company to me (there check bounced so B of A was pursuing me) SO I decided to pay, they had sent me a letter stating if I would pay $118.55 that would satisfy the debt. I did so on 2/10/03.
I am still currently getting collection calls on my cell phone from them, they have sent me no confirmation letter saying the debt was resolved. I called twice today. The first call ended with a guy telling me I needed to call this 877 number. I did it is disconnected. I called back again, I got hung up on. Is there any help out there?
