CIRCUIT CITY WON'T HONOR REBATE: I purchased a Tivo unit from Circuit City in January 2003 and mailed in a $100 rebate form shortly after the purchase. To this day, I have not received a single dollar of the rebate. Tivo now says the rebate has either expired or was not valid.

This is not what I was told by the Circuit City salesperson at the time of the purchase. And now Circuit City wants to give me a $25 gift card for me to forget the whole thing. This is nothing more than a bait and switch operation.
