Wells Fargo Mortgage - on three occasions, have unfairly been charged for not making payments on mortgage

Complaints.com received the following on April 13, 2003:

RE: Wells Fargo Mortgage - on three occasions, have unfairly been charged for not making payments on mortgage when wells fargo mortgage took over norwest mortgage, i didn't know whether to laugh or cry!!! i liked norwest mortgage.....i've hated wells fargo since my first bad experiences with them in 1970!!! any how, i have had a mortgage relationship with these dopes for 10 years now, ( 1st and 2nd mortgage

x 5 years each ). on three occasions, ( ONCE on the 1st mortgage, and TWICE on the 2nd mortgage ), they have accussed me

of not making "PAYMENTS ON THE MORTGAGE!!! on the 1st mortgage, they even attempted to DEFRAUD ME OUT OF $ 1,200.00 in "BOGUS LATE CHARGES"!!! i filed my cancelled checks with the state attorney general, and the ag verified what i alreade knew..... ***** WELLS FARGO HAD POSTED MY PAYMENT TO THE WRONG ACCOUNT!!!

***** then accused me of not making the payment at all!!!

***** then attempted to collect $ 1,200.00 in BOGUS LATE CHARGES FROM ME!!! wells fargo would not talk to me ABOUT MY OWN ACCOUNT!!! they simply said "they were right", and "i was wrong", and send them the EXTRA $ 1,200.00 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! further, when i filed a FEDERAL R.E.S.P.A., ( real estate settlement procedure act ) demand with them.....THEY IGNORED IT!!! THEY IGNORED FEDERAL LAW!!! that's how far they will go to DISADVANTAGE THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! the attorney general got their attention after they ignored me, and wells fargo mortgage backed off!!! stan woodzelle
