RE: Hollywood Video, Beltline Rd., Decatur, AL - no longer allowed to use business checks - rude service experience I have always been able to use my business check at the Hollywood Video store on Beltline Rd. in Decatur, Alabama until now. The store does not post any of their restrictions and are constantly changing policies as much as they do managers.
When I tried to pay for some movies with my business check (out of regular ones) the manager walked up and very rudley said no and walked away as I was trying to show her my business license that also has my name on it with my other identification. Also, my bank sits directly behind the video store. I have noticed her being very rude to other customers as well.
I had other means of paying for this, but because of her rudness, I decided to go to Blockbusters. I had originally started going to Hollywood years ago because of their good customer service, But I will not go in and pay my hard earned money to someone who will not take the time to atleast make eye contact with me and be treated rudely.
I would hope that the Hollywood video stores would take the time to post all their new policies, rules and regulations in the future. They may also want to take more time in hiring someone who actually likes to and knows how to deal with the public. thanks
