xoasis.com - paid for domain, don't have use of the domain

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on April 27, 2002:

RE: xoasis.com - paid for domain, don't have use of the domain Xoasis.com My web doamin name is being held hostage as my site is non-functioning. I renewed my web domain name with xoasis.com 27 days ago and they have yet to come through with services. My credit card was billed. Now my web host took down my site because the domain name is listed as expired. I have e-mailed, and phoned daily with no progress. I have not received one reply by e-mail or phone and have even been hung up on. if it were just the matter of the money paid, I would call it a loss and get another company; however, since this is a renewal they have control over my domain name. As of now, my site is down and xoasis is responsible. I rely on this site for work as I am a freelance graphic / web designer. When prospective employers look for my site, they see nothing. xoasis is a sham and a joke.
