RE: PC Richard - Air Conditioner installation pricing - poor service

On Monday, I bought an air conditioner in PC Richard. The salesman convinced my wife and I that we should have it installed because the current deal that is going on "can't be beat". He said, "It is normally $125 but we have a $60 rebate so it will only be $65 and then it's in ready for the heat".

He then place all of our papers in the folder and sent un on our way. Upon reading the "just papers" in the folder I read that there was extra cost for J-channel, molding and framing however the cost was not specified. I called and left three (3) messages for "Peter from the Babylon store" and also managers. I was even on hold for Twenty seven (27) minutes.

When the installer called my wife this morning she was told that each of the above mentioned extras will be $25. So it is not the case that the air conditioner will be in for the cost that we were lead to believe. Also, the $75 cost for these materials amounts to HIGHWAY ROBBERY!

The mere fact that I have left four (4) messages speaks to what they think of their customers once out the door with the sale. My experience has been a poor one and I believe that they should explain the above circumstances. Thank you in advance for any service that you can provide. Don Sedgley
