AOL customer service - experience with changing screen name</font></p> <p><font size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">I have tried for the past two months and four contacts to have them added a screen name that was taken off and given it's domain.

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on April 22, 2002:

RE: AOL customer service - experience with changing screen name I have tried for the past two months and four contacts to have them added a screen name that was taken off and given it's domain. They said no problem but would take two weeks. I waited three weeks and nothing happened so I contacted them again.
This time no problem but it will take 30 days, I have waited 45 days. I called them today and they still tell me no problem but it will take another 30- 40 days. They took the name off my master in 24 hours, why does it take 90 days+ to change it back.
