RE: 1998 Mercedes Benz ML320 - list of problems - much time spent in the service department

My 1998 Mercedes Benz ML320 is the worst automobile I have ever purchased. It has spent half of its life in the service department. Here is a list of my problems within the past 45 months: -dead battery (X2) -driver’s side headlight out -sunroof -odometer (X2) -seatbelt -Windows (X3)- 6 month wait -air intake cover- now whistles -loose driver’s side mirror -turn signal knob broken -rear passenger side seat knob broken -rear driver’s side seat knob broken -rear passenger side seat broken -rear passenger side door panel broken (X2) -CD changer broken -tail lights out (X3) -license plate lights out -faulty vibration damper, oil pan, fan belt, and other things...my car is currently in the shop for this reason. Many times my car has been at the dealership for more than a week. What's worse is that my warranty is about to expire. My father has a 1995 S500 that has also been riddled with problems. When calling the General Manager of Herb Chambers Mercedes Benz in Massachusettes to voice a complaint, I was YELLED at for laying out my problems to him even though he was not the one who had "sold the car" to me.

That was the first time I, as a customer, have been yelled at. It came as a great shock to me. I will be trading in my Mercedes Benz for a Lexus next month, but I will not be doing it through Herb Chambers. I have even called MBUSA to complain, but have not been contacted back in any way.
