RE: Formal Complaint

Bill Plemmons RV World

6725 University Parkway

Rural Hall, NC 27045

800.732.0507 I regret having to write to you about an unpleasant experience I've had with Bill Plemmons RV World in Rural Hall, NC. I prefer to deal with the company only in praise of an employee or the company's actions. Unfortunately, my situation is such that it is necessary for me to forward a complaint to you. We placed a deposit of $40.00 at the Raleigh RV Show - 2002 to hold the show price of a Hornet 32-R in Mulberry. A check of $1,000.00 was placed "on hold" at the dealership until further notice/time of ordering. Mr. Darryl Branson, Salesman stated that this style RV was in high demand so the turn around time would be 8 - 12 weeks. When we met with Mr. Branson the weekend of March 16, he checked the "RV Order Listing" and a 32-R Hornet order had already been placed for the dealership.

Since everyone was aware that we were on a tight time frame, we asked if we could purchase the ordered RV because it was ordered several weeks before and was to be delivered in 5 weeks (May 1,2002 delivery date). Mr. Branson then proceeded to talk with his supervisor and he said that there would be no problem with us buying the previously ordered (by the dealership) 32-R Hornet. On, April 15, Mr. Branson called and said that the RV was delayed until the end of May. Due to personal reasons and the delayed deliver time we cannot buy this RV. On Friday, April 19 I spoke with Darryl Branson and so did my wife informing them of our personal situation and asking for my $1,000.00 back. Mr. Branson told us that he could not authorize that and that we need to talk with a supervisor My wife, Judi, spoke with Mr. Branson's supervisor and he stated that the $1,000.00 was already cashed and out of their hands and in the hands of the manufacturer. Both stated that we could not get my money back. A representative proceed to call my place of employment which was in my opinion personal and invasion of my privacy. After speaking with several other RV dealerships and calling the Hornet manufacturer, we believe there is no viable reason not to return our $1,000.00. The dealership is not charged any money out of pocket until the

RV hits the dealership, there are presently many dealers who would love to get their hands on this 32-R Hornet model RV, and we believe this to be "bad business practice". On the paperwork there is nothing stating that we could not receive our $1,000.00 back in case of cancellation. I am writing to you today to formally ask that you investigate this situation and hope to have my $1,000.00 returned. I will fax you the paper-work on Monday. I look forward to hearing from you. I hope you can

respond within 30 days, so that we are able to resolve this problem in a speedy fashion. Sincerely,

Mike & Judi Pierce

Morrisville, NC 27560

Again the last two comments are unfounded. I gave bach the deposit on the KZ the customer decided not to purchase and the don't know anything about the Winnebago problem, nor have we been sued or legated against. So these comments are unfounded.

I to had a unpleasant experience

with Bill Plemmons RV World Rural Hall. I signed a contract and gave a deposit for a KZ Spree. The deal was approved by Steve Plemmons himself. When the RV came in it had a diffrent floor plan. I got my deposit back only after he said that he could not honor the deal that we made on the unit and options listed on the contract.

I purchased a "new" Winnebago Voyage from Plemmons in April 2007, and have nothing but problems. It was in the service Department 12 times in the first year and has been unusable since July 2008 due to poor!!! service.

Ligiation will be forthcomming.

Response long overdue:

I Steve Plemmons have personally tried many times to contact the Pierce family, and refund their money. My younger brother Jeff was in charge of sales at that time, and it was his decision to keep their money. I bought the company from him in 2004, and instantly changed this policy. He has since started his own dealership in Mocksville NC. If the Pierce family will call me at 1-888-746-2351 I will make this right, even though I did not do it. Beware of who you do your RV business with, and check the Better Business Bureau for dealer complaints.
