Complaints.Com - Please foward this message to Volkswagon Customer Care (ha) on my behalf. Unfortunately I am unable to find an appropriate email adress.

At least this message may be posted on your site as a warning to consumers. I purchased a VW Jetta GLS in 1996 which now has 109K miles and has fallen apart. I have recently calculated repair costs for this vehicle according to my extensive and thorough repair history. Consumers beware, these cars costs a LOT to maintain: Life span of car: $3089.82 parts $2491.03 labor $5580.85 total Last three years: $1062.53 (total) $88.54/month Last 12 months: $2187.33 (total) $182.28/month I am a reasonable person, so I have subtracted regular service and scheduled maintenance (according to the service manual) and came up with the following figures representing unreasonable repairs: $2425.98 (parts) $1460.93 (labor) $3886.91 (total) I have attempted to get help from VW and they refuse it. This company does not back up their products. If you own one of these automobiles, please read your warranty thoroughly!!! There are warranties that you may not know of which may help you. Call VW customer care after EVERY repair to see if they will assist you with payment. Thank you. Ryan
