RE: eMachines PC - purchased at Circuit City, Harrisburg, PA - waiting for repair to be finished

I purchased an Emachines PC at Circuit City in late October, 2001, the model is a T1090 Desktop computer. After a few weeks I started to notice a vibration when I would bring up applications, the vibration was so fierce

that I could not set a cup of coffee on the desk that housed the computer. I checked with the Emachines User's guide and it informed me to Email Email User

I emailed the support three times and each time they assigned me a Case, ID number and asked me to try several things to correct the problem. After the third Email I requested some other form of help since we could not correct the problem, the support at Emachines advised me to contact the complaint department at 1-801-401-1419.

I called that number which is not toll free and at first got a representative by the name of Paula, she was very helpful but we got disconnected since I was using a calling card that ran out. I called again but this time I got a representative by the name of Theresa, she informed me she had no record of my Emails to Emachine support.

Case ID's 2659585 & 2670496, do not have the third case ID number. She was very insensitive and would not help with the problem. I then called the Circuit City store where I purchased the Emachine PC and

they said to bring it to the store service department and they would confirm if I had a problem with the desktop computer.

When I got to the store the representative informed me that there was a problem with the Emachine PC and they could repair it since they where the Emachine repair facility for this area. I received a claim number from Circuity City Stores, Harrisburg, Pa. 17112, 717-671-4913. the claim no. is A4509506. That was on February 15, 2002.

I have contacted the service department for Circuit City at 1-888-333-2333 several times since and they inform me they are waiting for parts from Emachine, I again tried to contact Emachines but they claim they do not have any record of the Emachine at Circuit City, the information I received was they do not keep records for Emachines repaired by another company.

So now I call Circuit City service and they inform me they are still waiting for parts.

Help.
