RE: First Premier Bank of Sioux Falls, SD - unsolicited credit card loaded with fees - nightmare to return card and not pay fees Sirs:
On 4-04-02 we received an unsolicited credit card loaded down with fees, charges and insurance totalling $178 from First Premier Bank of Sioux Falls, SD.
It has been and remains a nightmare to return the card and not pay the $178.
The sham is so weak that the First Premier has, as our home phone, a public phone telephone number about 25 miles way from our residence and as a work phone, it is the reservation number for Universal Studios.
The asked for the last 4 digits of my Social Security Number and when I said, "No, you tell me the four digits listed on my supposed application," no reply at at all.
I have even spoke with a woman named Heidi who claims to be the Executive Assistant to the President.
I thought these things happen only in the movies.

I'am not rich and every penny I have counts. I thought the cost was $7.00 a month fee for this card which is more than enough to cover cost of this card all year so as a result I must decline this card . This card also came pre-activated. No need to call an 800 number to activate, unlike most traditional credit cards. I tried calling numerous numbers to get rid of this card and have it cancelled. I spoke with a account specialist named Christian (1-877-635-2563) who assured me it was cancelled and I owe nothing. He could not assure me that this would not adversely affect my credit with the credit bureaus. They keep sending bills that I refuse to pay, I never used or activated this card to authorize any fees! This upsets me greatly and I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and the FDIC (it says they are part of it in their paperwork). Wish me luck.
