RE: Yahoo! auction - NEC Multiscan M700 17" Monitor arrived broken, seller lagoth_zanta72 not returning email I bid and bought a computer monitor on February 26, 2002 on the Yahoo auction. My auction bid number was 61759870, for $100.00. This was for a NEC Multiscan M700 17" Monitor w/built in Speaker.
Seller's id: lagoth_zanta72, seller's e-mail: Email User I made arrangements for payment thru c2it by Citibank to e-mail address: Email User
I didn't receive the monitor until March 17th, 2002. The monitor was shipped via us mail, and when I got it, it was busted on the left corner. I e-mailed the seller , whose name is Scott Lewis, (I have copys of all e-mails) over 10 times and I finally got a response on March the 20th, 2002.
I remailed him several times and finally on March 26th, he e-mailed me back and I agreed to a replacement monitor but I have yet to hear from him again. As of today I have sent over 30 e-mails since February 26th, about my purchase.
I gave him my toll free number , so he could talk with me at no charge to him and he has not done so. I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me to recover my $100.00.
My name is Brenda Monteith
