We purchased a 12 cup GE coffee maker about 2 months ago from our local (29621) Wal-Mart store. When we set it up I mentioned to my husband that the coffee ground container did not "lock" as it was said to do in the instructions. We figured well, it must lock well enough, because it was new.

 

In the past 2 weeks it has run all over the counter and floor because the coffee ground container swings away from the coffee maker when it was programmed to perk. It is Model 106591F. Did not understand in the

customer complaint screen how to register new complaints. Would appreciate your help.

 

The coffee maker cost us $40 and we are retired, on a fixed income. You have a terrific day, and we really appreciate whatever help you are able to give us.

We purchased this coffee maker right after Christmas. By New Year's the grinder had already quit working. The whole thing is a piece of junk. Shame on GE, you used to have quality products. I'm going back to my Senseo.

Mine too! We've resorted to a rubber band to hold the basket closed. Too bad, its a nice package that's flawed. You can keep this one China!
