Complaints.Com, Thank you for your assistance with our disagreement with Simmons Mattress Company. Please update our complaint on your web-site to reflect the following: We heard from Simmons. They were very polite and helpful and have agreed to replace our mattress set with a style of equal value. We are thrilled this is going to work out.

Their legal department asked us to remove our personal web-site regarding this situation, so we have. We are now waiting for the letter to arrive stating that we can go pick out our replacement mattress set. I'll send an update when we actually get the replacement mattress. Thanks! :) Heather

RE: Simmons Beautyrest Mattress - 10 year warranty mattress is defective at 4 years, warranty 'denied'

We bought a Simmons Beautyrest mattress 4 years ago that we paid $2000 for. This mattress came with a 10 year warranty. The first several years the mattress was comfortable, but it began to sink in on either side where each of us lie on the mattress. Deep groves have formed and there is little to no back support.

The seams have begun to split on the sides of the mattress exposing the mattress coils. We each wake up several times during the night with our backs killing us. Each morning we awaken unrested and with backaches. We recently wrote to the Simmons company about this problem, and they refused to replace our mattress. Our claim for a replacement under the warranty was denied. We told them we would be this web-site up if they did not honor their warranty.
