Complaints.com received the following consumer message on March 31, 2002:

RE: Magazines / Circulation II - one day later, still haven't received Nickelodean magazine subscription

 

I purchased a subscription to a magazine (Nickelodeon) from a door-to-door salesperson for this company on March 24, 2001. (Overpriced, too, I might add at $50).

 

A year later, I still have not received my magazine. I have emailed (8/24/01. By the way, you can no longer email the company), faxed (10/17/01) and called the company. I was assured by a company representative (on 11/2/01) that it was an error in address.

 

That I would receive the magazine, and also another complimentary subscription as an apology. That was November. It's now April 2002....still no sign of either magazine.

 

Now the phone number and fax number I had for the company representative have been disconnected. No answer received to my letter sent February 25, 2002 asking for a refund of the $50 for merchandise never received.

 

The mailing address for Circulation II is listed on my order form as P.O. Box 8002, Rock Island, IL 61204.

 

I want my $50 back!
