RE: medical fraud alert-please post
I would like to alert everyone in the New York City metro area to the presence of a fraudulent alternative health care practitioner who uses the name Dominique Richard. He is an uneducated French Canadian who emigrated to the United States from Quebec as a rock musician in the 1970s. The only license he has ever held is as a hairdresser.
When he left music, he reinvented himself as a famous French physician and homeopath and son of the actress Jeanne Moreau. All claims are false. His true name is believed to be Richard Gleeson, and he also impersonates a British record producer named Steve Levine. He has been convicted on five counts of practicing medicine without a license. A diagnosable sociopath and professional con artist, he is extremely charming and convincing in his portrayal of a physician.
He sells patients large volumes of liquid herbal remedies as part of his therapeutic protocols. He loves playing doctor, and performs many medical procedures such as phlebotomy and inserting intravenous catheters. He performs acupuncture and will perform minor surgical procedures if patients allow him. Anyone who has been defrauded by him is urged to contact Email User or call 1- 917- 421-3901 x1384 and leave a voice message.
