House & Home - Lawn Movers, General rear guard not effective

safety lawn mower, general From: D Boz Email User Date: Monday, April 09, 2001 10:59 PM there are certain push mowers with a rear guard.the type that has about an inch of soft rubber above and a hard coved piece of plastic below are very dangerous.an object can be shot through the soft rubber and caused to ricochet off the hard coved plastic and shot towards and into the upper torso of the user.
it happened to me,i cut the hard coved part off.i'd rather get shot in the ankle instead of the chest. From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Tuesday, 10-Apr-01 22:59:00 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
