Microsoft - How Microsoft Killed Thanksgiving

I got up and turned on my computer this morning. For me that's going to work. But I didn't recognize the screen. A Windows update had destroyed my profile. Here is what I put on my website:

If Windows Update screwed you up here's what to do. First run system restore to restore your system to how it was before the update. 2. Disable system restore. 3. Complain to Microsoft.

I since learned that antivirus software must be disabled before updating. Also it is better to add one update at a time and reboot after each one. Back up your hard drive first.
