My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights on our honeymoon this summer and it was the WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIVES:

1. When we announced we were honeymooners at check-in, the staff said ?that?s nice? and seemed disinterested.

2. We paid extra for the Deluxe room, but we couldn't even walk around both sides of the bed.

3. The breakfast included in our travel package was not honored.

4. The maid staff REMOVED OUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS, INCLUDING OUR PLANE TICKETS, TRAVEL VOUCHERS ETC. FROM OUR ROOM.

5. Night management made limited attempt to recover them and went so far as to accuse us of losing them.

6. We spent our last night in London up all night with our travel agents to get the rest of our European itinerary re-established, requiring the agents to contact the vendors and re-issue new vouchers.

7. We asked management not to call us until after 9am the next day- we received a phone call at 7am.

8. When we explained our frustration at check-out, morning management?s response was to angrily say Well, what do you want from me??

9. To appease us, corporate offered us $100 toward our roughly $2000 bill, which we still have yet to receive!

We left grievously disappointed in our choice of stay at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Vanderbilt and the negative shadow it cast on our view of London and our honeymoon as a whole. Anyone on honeymoon has the expectation of superior service and generous treatment, rather than inferior service and blatant disrespect. A hotel does not simply provide a room, it provides a promise that your personal belongings will be safe and that the customer will is respected and valued. The hotel grossly failed to live up to these global standards of service.
