When processing the last pension payment to my deceased mother-in-law, Sue Schnite, NYCERS discovered a date of birth error in her records and requested support docs to resolve the issue. This was done on the last week of June 2013. Ever since that time repeated calls to NYCERS end with their promise of notifying the responsible dept. Yet, nothing ever develops. They never send any correspondence nor do they call. In early Oct. 2013 I requested to speak with a supervisor who then told me the same thing as everyone else before him. He assured me that I will receive some notice or payment within 6 weeks. As the 6 weeks were up I called again today, 11/14/13, and was told the same thing again. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was passed on to someones voicemail. Please help.
