Samsung USA - Poor Samsung quality and service

Our Samsung dishwasher and microwave failed after less than two years. This after three Samsung fridge replacements to correct a manufacturing problem in the water line heater.

We complained to Samsung, but in the meantime arranged their authorized service center to repair the DW and MW.

Altogether over $ 300 paid to them.

Then a call came Oct 23 from Executive Customer Relations saying they would cover the costs of the dishwasher on a one-time basis.

I said we already paid and it was there authorized Samsung service center that did the work.

Then they said sorry, we don't reimburse for work already done.

Arguments were futile - despite the lack of logic. They would pay if I hadn't already? But not if I had paid?

Sorry, not only have I learned a lesson about the lack of quality in Samsung products, I know they don't stand behind their products.

We bought the fridge on the basis of a top rating from a consumer magazine, so wanted the matching stove, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer at the same time - a hard-learned lesson.

Would we ever consider Samsung again - not in our lifetime!
