We purchased a new 2013 Dodge Ram truck from Ferman of New Port Richey. Picked up truck late afternoon on Saturday, 02/16/2013. That Monday, check engine light came on. Service appointment on Tuesday at 2:30. Called next day that it was fixed. Picked up Wednesday afternoon. Thursday morning check engine light was back on. Took truck straight back to service shop at Ferman. It has been in their possession since then. Today is the 12th day that we have not had possession of our new truck that we have owned for 15 days. Service has been TERRIBLE. Only reason we now receive feedback is because we made multiple complaints regarding this. The feedback is vague, evap leak, they are "running tests" with Chrysler engineers. It is obvious that this truck is a LEMON. We have been part of the Dodge "family" for many years. This is our 4th purchase of a Dodge Ram in addition to a Jeep Liberty and a Plymouth Voyager minivan all in the past 20 years. We are very disappointed that neither Ferman nor Chrysler/Dodge have the integrity to do the right thing and refund us our money. It is obvious that NEITHER FERMAN NOR CHRYSLER/DODGE VALUE US AS CUSTOMERS. This is very sad because our purchase experience was a very good one, but this has been overshadowed by the subsequent HORRIBLE experience we are going through now. At this point, we could not in good conscience recommend anyone to make a purchase at Ferman of New Port Richey and/or utilize their service department.
