I ordered one of SharperImage.com's Warming Foot Massagers for my wife for Christmas. The first time she tried it, it neither warmed nor massaged to any degree of satisfaction. When I called SharperImage.com customer service about another issue regarding my account there, I casually mentioned that I was returning the massager for the above reason. I was told that the item is not returnable because it is a "personal care item." I venture to guess that most other online retailers, and almost certainly any reputable "brick and mortar" retailer, would accept a return on this item with no questions asked, and probably with no receipt required during the Christmas return season. I intend never to buy any Sharper Image merchandise again - online or in a retail store -- because of their lousy customer service.
