The street.com - Autorenewal travesty

I inadvertently signed up for an auto renewal of a service by thestreet.com. When I realize they had charged my credit card I called and told them to cancel. They refused. They said I had to do it before the auto renewal according to there terms of service. This payment is made in advance of any service rendered. In this day and age this policy is gouging and greedy.
