I have bought several pairs of Born shoes over the years (models: Embeth, Noley). The soles routinely split and separate from leather uppers less than 1 yr from purchase date. Returning them to Macy's or Nordstrom results in credit. But after three pairs I have given up on Born. repairing the soles with Freesole or Shoe Goo provides a temporary fix but that is all and I don't believe I should have to resort to this method for pretty new shoes. I have gone to wearing Keene and Timberland Pro Five-Stars for comfort, style AND durability.
