Ordered a used book through Amazon.ca on-line. Was advised the following day, the book was no longer available from the seller and the order was moved to my "Cart" for me to order in the future. I then obtained another copy of the book from a family member. The following day, two days after the orignal order, I was advised by the seller she had shipped the book. Numerous e-mails exchanged daily for over two weeks with the seller and Amazon.ca. Seller refused to accept the book back. My credit card account was charged the cost of the book and shipping. The seller says she was paid. Amazon.ca, through their usual e-mail system and their "A-Z Guarantee" site both refused to settle the matter. Said it was not their problem, yet it was Amazon.ca that advised me originally the book was not available. Amazon.ca sent me a book (they had cancelled) and took money from my credit card account without my knowledge or consent.
