Dish Network - Disconnect fee

i've been having issues with Dish Newtork, i've recently moved into a different building at my apartment complex, and a tech came out and told me there is no "line of sight" at my new building, yet there are other dishes mounted on my side of the building, i called dish 5 times last week and some of the representatives said i wouldn't be charged the disconnect fee, then others said i would be, then they told me they would send a tech out for a 2nd opinion, twice, but nobody ever showed...i just don't want this to happen to anybody else, before you move, make sure you have service at your new place

I came across your post and realize it was from a long time ago. I wanted to share some information with you as well as anyone else who may happen to stumble across it! I do apologize to hear about the second technician visit to make sure of the situation not happening. As far as the situation itself goes of having your commitment voided, please understand that the terms of the contract do need to uphold if you move due to the fact that we've established service with a good line of sight for your signal at your original residence and are never able to guarantee the same at a possible new location.
