I started to shop on Etsy recently & fell in love with handmade items.

While having fun ordering custom orders, I came upon this shop which custom make a bag for me, after spending alot of time sending her pictures & info on what I wanted, she created something reasonable, the workmanship is not fantastic though but I went on to purchased 2 more items from her shop which I don't really need as a token of appreciation for a job done.

Then after 2 weeks, as I wanted to saves time to go thru details with another shop, I decided to have her custom me another similar bag but with a different fabric, she agreeds but said that she think she didn't charge me enough & would like to increase the price by US$8 more. After I agreed to the price, she convo me asking about what I wanted etc & said she lost some info on previous bag. I thought she has somewhat started working on it already, feel bad if I asked her to stop, so I went thru alot of hassle providing her info all over again. I met with an accident last weekend still worrying whether she get the picture of what I wanted or not, limping with one leg I went to take photos for her reference.

Before that she's been telling me to wait a week as she got orders outside of Etsy, then she said she got a new machine. Today, she drop me a bomb & told me she's not able to do it!

Well, I see it as another tactic to raise price or those items on her shop is not made by her. Cause I saw more complicated item in her shop, and mine is just a very simple bag. I've already filed a complain with Etsy & hope they will look into it.

Just a warning to those out there who loves fabrics & handmade, beware of this shop. This is very discouraging for me to shop on Etsy or to custom make an item, I'm so afraid I might come upon same unscrupulous merchant again. She wasted alot of my time, is so frustrating. :(
