Orange - Orange Mobile Phone Contracts

How can Orange, the mobile phone provider, make 3 x direct debit charges for 3 accounts on one bill? I pay my bill on line and refuse to be drawn into the DD scheme. Why are customers penalised with a none direct debit charge, surely it should be choice not mandatory of how we pay our bills. This is yet another banking scam.

Also, I pay for a brand new phone over the duration of my contract, why then do I receive a refurbished phone when my new one has failed? I have lost count at the number of replacements I have had. I can never seem to talk or negotiate with a responsible human being. Always it's an automaton with a written protocol to refer to and nothing ever gets resolved.

I can only leave the contract if I buy out of it despite the appalling customer service.

I know I am not alone with this,. The mobile phone industry seems to be inventing its own laws!
