Family Companions by Royal Flush INC. aka Royal Flush Havanese - Royal Flush Havanese (Puppy MIll?)
Posted on Saturday, April 7th, 2012 at 4:52pm CDT by a82bf657
Product: Havanese puppies and no longer useful adults
IS ROYAL FLUSH HAVANESE A PUPPY MILL? TAKE A LOOK AT THE FACTS AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF.
Family Companions by Royal Flush is a corporation owned by Holly Anderson at 95 Old Coach Rd in Charlestown, RI 02813.
SHE IS A CORPORATION AND A COMMERCIAL BREEDER
Holly Anderson has applied for a commercial kennel license with the town of Charlestown, RI
THE TOWN OF CHARLESTOWN HAS A "NO LIMIT" LAW ON HOW MANY DOGS A RESIDENT CAN OWN
Holly Anderson has obtained loans with Citizens Bank under her corporation as a Testing Laboratory
SHE IS NOT FEDERALLY LICENSED AND THIS IS VIOLATION OF FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR LAB AND TESTING FACILITIES
Royal Flush Havanese was inspected by the State of Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management Animal Unit.
She was found to be housing over 50 debarked dogs in steel indoor enclosures.
-You can confirm this by contacting their office at: 401-222-2718
THIS WOULD BE A VIOLATION OF HER HOME OWNERS INSURANCE COMPANY
We contacted the ASPCA and other state offices and were told she was not shut down because the groups hands are tied. It is the best of a worst situation for them. When asked about these mill-like set ups we were told by these groups that the current laws are too antiquated to deal with this type of situation.
THIS IS WHERE WE NEED THE HELP OF RHODE ISLAND LEGISLATORS TO CHANGE THE LAW
She is a self-proclaimed "Havanese Expert" with 30 years experience but has only been involved with the breed for 9 years.
- She has had 8 other confirmed breeds in the last 15 years. Is she an expert in all nine breeds?
She is a self proclaimed "Ethical Breeder" and posted an award to mislead buyers into thinking she has achieved special recognition. To get this award you simply go to this website: http://www.trainpetdog.com/breeder-form.php, enter your contact information, get a link to the award and post it on your site without inspections, credentials and follow up. It is as misleading as she is with her buyer review posts that originate from her IP address.
There is a long list of complaints from buyers, workers and other people that have dealt with Ms. Anderson at the site below. Read and judge for yourself:
+ Holly has spent many years dabbling with various breeds of dogs and cats for profits sake only. To date, we have uncovered web pages for Presa Canarios, Cheetoh Cats, Retrievers, Mastiffs, Savannah Cats, Spaniels, Havanese, and Bichons. Past buyers have mentioned other breeds and we are working to verify this information. We have evidence of all of these breeding businesses thanks to web history kept at: http://wayback.archive.org. This website has saved her internet history and pups for sale information over the last 10 years. When the money runs out on breeding these animals, she dumps them into the laps of the public on Craigslist. She is now making suspicious claims the she has rescued animals though she has been dumping the old dogs on Craigslist for years. Some of the dogs she has dismissed have made their way into various rescue groups around New England and we have the documentation to prove this. Many of these dogs have made their way to rescue groups and it needs to stop.
