Product: grocery store

Company: Giant Food

Location: Cradlerock Way

Category: Stores, Shopping

I was shopping at the Giant Food Store on Cradlerock Way in Columbia, MD yesterday and as I was walking down the Bread Aisle, there was a loaf of bread that had fallen on the floor. There was a man walking toward me with his hands in his jacket pockets and he stopped to talk to a man working in the same aisle. As the man walked toward me he kicked the loaf of bread to the side and kept walking. I asked the employee working in the aisle who that man was and he said "George, our store manager." I think that as a manager, he should have picked the bread up off of the floor and not kicked it, a totally unacceptable and inexcusable response to something on the floor in "his store". If this degree of laziness is what Giant Food wants in their managers then he is a perfect example. This says volumes for the store, the manager, and the company. It is no wonder the employees have poor attitudes, bad work habits, and a general I don't care attitude.
