Fifth Third Bank
Posted on Tuesday, December 11th, 2012 at 6:45pm CST by Bob N.
Company: Fifth Third Bank
Category: Business, Finances
I received a call about a late bill and was asked to make a payment. During the call, I got disconnected. When trying to call back, I get a customer representative in the Philippines. I could not understand him and asked to be transferred to someone I could understand. 7 minutes and 12 seconds later I am connected to someone in Texas. They could not help me with a late fee, as the bank was suppose to send me information to have direct payments made each month. I was then transferred to Michigan, where I was transfer 2 more times. Never waived the late fee after being on the phone with Fifth/Third Bank for 42 minutes. I asked for the Corporate office, which the one supervisor, Dina, told me was there in Michigan, to the contrary of the internet search which directed me to Cincinnati Ohio. I sell Real Estate and have recommended clients to the bank, Never Again after the treatment I received! Plan on Contacting the Federal Reserve Bank of Governor's regarding this Bank's practices.
