I have used Total Merchant Services as my credit card processor for 4 years. In March of 2010, I opened a retail outlet and got a card processor for the store. The equipment was $56 per month. In October of 2012, I closed the store and asked them to cancel the Retail account. I don't do the books for our business and I didn't know that TMS was still charging us $56 per month for the last 2 years!!!! They never closed the account! When I contacted them last week, they said they would submit a refund request and I should have something within 2-3 days. I called them today and they said the refund request had been declined. So, they took $1300 of my money and won't give it back!!!! I CANCELLED ALL MY ACCOUNTS. DON'T EVER USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE THIEVES!!!!
