On October 22nd 2012, my SAMSUNG refrigerator stopped working. I called 1-800-SAMSUNG to fix the issue (still under mfg warranty). Three days later a service agent calls to set up an appointment. Three days later, and after being informed of the problem,(a misplaced defrost sensor) they told me it was a "common problem" with my model (RF267AERS). Tech showed up (an hour and a half away) with no parts. I was told it would be 7 days till part came in. Called SAMSUNG to expedite. They cancelled service and offered me $2208.22 to cut the cord and dispose of unit! Thinking that was crazy, I called service back myself, who came back 8 days later to fix my fridge. Total cost of repair...$60.00 plus whatever the service call was. Asked SAMSUNG what they could do to accommodate my loss/aggravation...$25.00 gift card! 18 days without a fridge! Got nowhere! DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG!!!
