Product: Whirlpool Cabrio Washer
Company: Whirlpool
Location: US
Category: Appliances, Equipment, Tools
I bought a Whirlpool Cabrio washer in Nov.2010,brought it home and hooked it up when I turned it on water poured out the bottom. So we disconnect, take it back and get another one, same make and model. I have that one less than two years when I get my wash out and shut the lid.The lid locks and the washer displays a blinking 8 mins.on a rinse spin cycle. Call the repair man, tells me for starters it needs a new water pump cost $200.00 than most likely a new lid lock, maybe even a new mother board. This is the third whirlpool washer I have purchased in the last 10 years, not of which lasted long or were repair free. I contacted Whirlpool customer service and was basically told how they stand behind their products, and take pride in them and are not responsible for defects in the manufacturing of them. What a joke, if their not who is? I guess they dont care about there sales either because I will never buy anything with their name on it again nor would I recommend them. What ever happened to made in America? Just wondered
