American Honda - Honda not honoring recalling defective component

I own a 1998 Honda Accord LX. Honda did a defective ignition switch recall and the component failed last week causing my car to stall and cause me grave personal danger.

Honda is unwilling to recognize the issue and reimburse me for the costs of a faulty recalled component. I spent up to $250 and personal time and money to get the problem fixed.
