On Friday 11/4/11, I bought a new Panasonic KXTG7624SK 6.0 plus, 4 phone/answering machine system, which is supposed to allow linkage with my cell phone and download of the address book. After reading the instructions and following them specifically multiple times without success I contacted the manufacturer to ask for assistance. Trying to get through on the automated phone system was impossible...and eventually led me to a recording which stated that I lived "out-of-range" and would need to pay to speak with a technician. I then emailed the company and the automated reply was: "thank you...someone would respond within 2 business days". When I attempted to "chat" it took almost 15 minutes to connect with someone and then another hour going over the same steps I had tried on my own...again and again without success. The result of this time consuming and frustrating process was that the "technician" told me I needed to "send the unit in for replacement"! I had spent nearly 2 hours (maybe more) attempting to set-up this system just to be told that there is a problem with the unit and I should waste more of my time and money sending it back to the manufacturer, wait for a new unit to be sent to me and then go through this process all over again. Needless to say I am very dissatisfied with this experience, the customer service, and this product. I used to believe Panasonic was a reliable manufacturer with good products, but I don't think I will bother buying their products in the future if this is the type of "customer service" and "quality products" I can expect to purchase. I also plan on taking this phone system back to where I purchased it so that I can get my money back immediately instead of being expected to waste any more of my time waiting. Sincerely, K
